PauseKite privacy policy
How PauseKite uses device data, Google Play purchases, and support messages.
1. Operator and scope
PauseKite is developed by Laohuoji (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., registered in Shanghai, China. This policy describes the 0.5.2 development preview, which includes Google Play Billing. Purchases are not open yet. We will review this policy before the paid store release.
2. Data processed on your device
The app reads launchable app names, icons and package names to display the app picker. Your app choices, timing, latest session record, interface draft and accessibility-purpose consent are stored in private app preferences on your phone. During a session, the accessibility service receives window-change package names to determine whether to block the current app. These data are not sent to us.
3. Use of accessibility
Only during a session you confirm, the service returns to the home screen and displays a blocking overlay for apps you selected. It does not read screen text, typed messages, passwords or screenshots. It does not prevent access to system Settings, disabling the service or uninstalling. You can disable it at any time in system Settings.
4. Google Play purchases, network access and sharing
Blocking works offline. The Google Play Billing SDK and its dependencies include internet access for purchases, restoration and related diagnostics. Google processes payment, account and technical data under its own policies. We do not receive your card details. A Google-signed purchase receipt and token are stored privately on your device to verify Pro access. Purchases and restoration require an internet connection and the Google Play account used to buy. We have no purchase-verification server in this preview. App choices and session records are not uploaded to us. There are no ads, separate analytics tools, PauseKite accounts or app-data cloud backups. Android and device manufacturers provide system features under their own policies.
5. Retention, deletion and purchase access
App choices, drafts, the latest session and purchase receipts remain until replaced, cleared or the app is uninstalled. Purchases can be restored with the original Google Play account. A successful ownership check can remove Pro after a refund or revocation; a network failure preserves an already verified receipt. You may disable accessibility at any time. Clearing app data or permissions can interrupt blocking. Selected apps unlock when a session ends; the latest session may remain on the completion screen.
6. Website and support messages
Our website pages include no advertising, analytics scripts or online form. Hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs to deliver pages, maintain security and summarize site traffic. Any sign-in needed for preview access is governed by the sign-in provider’s policy. The website demonstration uses only page memory and does not access or lock apps on your phone. If you contact support, the mail provider processes your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and resolve your question. Send only necessary information. You may contact the address below to request access to or deletion of your support correspondence.
7. Policy changes and contact
We will update this policy if data handling changes. For privacy questions or requests about support messages, contact the support address below. The preview has not launched paid purchases; its Google Play configuration and purchase testing remain in preparation.
